A special shout out to Jack Ziets, our liaison from Team Wild. Jack is a Southern Lehigh grad who took a summer internship with the Wild campaign. He saw how important the race was and decided to take the fall semester off from American University and work full time for the campaign. Somehow, Jack managed to talk dozens of full grown adults into knocking hundreds of doors AND to make us think that not only would it make a difference but that it would (could?) be enjoyable! He was right on both counts. Southern Lehigh had, I think, the highest turnout in Lehigh county and all of the precincts had more democratic votes then ever before.
Susan Wild won Upper Saucon township by one vote. Lower Milford township turned in the third highest amount of votes for Wild out of our eight precincts. Coopersburg went blue.
So thank you Jack, for coming home, to help us elect Susan Wild!
